LambdaLynx: Architect Clarity. Build Momentum

Your First 0-10 Customers

At 0-10 customers, the only architecture that matters is the one that lets you change your mind tomorrow.

Not scalability. Not clean code. Not “doing it right.” Speed to learning.

I’ve watched founders burn months building “scalable” systems for products that hadn’t found their first paying customer. Kubernetes clusters serving zero traffic. Microservices with one service. Event-driven architectures with no events worth processing.

Meanwhile, the scrappy team with a messy Rails monolith shipped three pivots and found product-market fit.

Your database will handle it. Your single server will handle it. Your “embarrassing” code will handle it, if it lets you learn fast enough to find the 10 customers who become 100.

The startups that fail at this stage rarely fail because of architecture. They fail because they built the wrong thing too carefully.

Ship. Learn. Repeat. The rewrite can wait until you have the problem worth solving.

What did you wish you’d ignored earlier in your startup journey?
